Just do it

Dear Pastor,

I am a Christian who fell in love with a guy living in America. We will be getting married. He is coming to Jamaica soon. He wants to get baptised. Can we get married before he is baptised? Or should I wait until he is baptised before we get married?

A.T., St. Elizabeth, Jamaica

Dear A.T.,

It doesn't matter when this guy is baptised. What is important is that he has become a Christian. If he has not been spiritually transformed then he should not get baptised at all.

Pastor
