Dear Pastor,
There is a guy who is always giving me money and other things. He says that he loves me, but his friends always laugh at him. They say he is a fool and I don't want him. They also say that I am just taking him for a fool. I don't want him and I am just playing him. Is it wrong that I am playing him although I know he wants me badly? I am going crazy because he printed my name on the back of his shirt.
Please, tell what should I do?
S.G., Kingston, Jamaica
Dear S. G.,
What you are doing is wrong and I also want to warn you that it is dangerous. Some guys physically abuse women when they realise that the women are taking their money and pretending that they love them and are making fools of them. Some guys don't just threaten the girls, but they carry out their threats. So, I beg you to desist from taking money and other gifts from this young man. Men do not like to be laughed at. No man has any right to abuse any woman, but I know that some men are arrogant and will do anything to hurt women to show other guys that they are not going to allow any woman to make them look like idiots. So, I warn you to stop 'playing' this guy.
Pastor
