Passagefort 'burnt-out' families gets help

Senator Arthur Williams, the Jamaica Labour Party candidate for South East St. Catherine, has come to the rescue of three families that were recently 'burnt out' at Passagefort Drive in the municipality.

All together nine persons were left homeless. Fifteen sheets of ply board and house frames were given to the family to enable them to rebuild. "When I heard about the fire, I rushed down to the scene to see where I could be of any assistance. They need to rebuild so I gave them a head start," Senator Williams expressed.

Two of the recipients, Linval Swaby and Yvonne Dawkins showed genuine gratitude towards the Senator after receiving the tokens.

The fire occurred at about 5 a.m. Sunday morning on June 17, and the occupant losts most of their belongings.
