DEADLY KNOT

Dear Pastor,

My heart is so filled with hate. My father married a woman 30 years younger than he is. After less than six weeks of being married, he was found dead. He got involved in a church where he was baptised and married, but when he passed away they refused to allow the funeral service in the church. This wicked woman had him tied up in legal issues because she claimed he didn't have any family members.

After two months, I was finally able to have a proper service for him. What hurts so much is that this female caused so much pain and distress on my family. The marriage was all business or she somehow tricked my father. Now she wants to claim all his assets.

How can people get away with things like this? I don't know why I am writing you, but the spirit moved me to write. I need some help so badly because I feel so much hate. Thank you for your time.

S.L.

Dear S.L.,

You need the help of a lawyer and if you have not retained one, I suggest that you do so immediately. Make sure that you do not try to handle this matter by signing any agreement with your father's wife. Let an attorney-at-law handle everything.

I understand why you hate this woman, but I am going to suggest that you pray for her every day. And by praying for her every day you will find that God will take away the feeling of hate that is in your heart. You cannot pray for anyone and have hate in your heart at the same time. Let me know how things develop.

Pastor
