According to Deputy Superintendent Cleon Marsh, Crime Chief for Clarendon, the police have not yet completed their investigation into the recent theft, but are intensifying their approach to find the person or persons connected to the latest act of dishonesty in May Pen.
This is the third major robbery in the parish since the start of the year, following one at the Spaldings PC Bank and a jewellery, in May Pen, where thieves also disconnected the light and entered the building.
In recent times, the police in the parish have been put under intense pressure due to migrant criminal activity. THE STAR learnd, however, that the police are also working on a plan to deal with this problem. It is not known if the money was insured.
