THE EDITOR, Sir:
There is a saying which goes 'the whole world history is a black story because the world was built with the knowledge, the blood, sweat and tears of black people'.
Well, I was made aware that the Canadian authorities refused to grant Winnie Mandela a visa to enter Canada but they granted visas to Winnie's daughter and the bodyguard, knowing that Winnie is the reason that her daughter and bodyguard are going to Canada.
Now I am amazed thinking of the scenario going through the minds of those Canadian authorities, thus leading them to make such outlandish conclusions, so I am inclined to ask some questions:
(1) Was Winnie denied a visa because she likes to stand up for black dignity?
(2) Was she refused a visa because she is too intelligent?
Here is a narration from the Honourable Marcus Garvey for all the people of planet Earth, "I know no national boundary where the negro is concerned, the whole world is my province until Africa is free."
I am, etc.,
