A 15-year-old teenager who is charged with murder appeared in the Santa Cruz Juvenile Court last Friday and was remanded to a place of safety until June 16, when he should return.
Information received indicates that on April 30, at about 5:40 p.m., the teenager and a 17-year-old farmer, Tanique Blake, had an argument over a 13-year-old girl.
It is alleged that during the argument, a knife was used to stab Blake in his abdomen and chest. He died on the spot.
While the teenager was on his way to the police station, he was accosted by the Pedro Plain police who took him into custody.
Following investigatiosn he was arrested on the capital charge.
