A beating for Big Man - Episode 9

Big Man Ralphie (behind wall) runs from his mother after he was caught in the act. Shot directed by Rosie Murray. - Anthony Minott

By Wednesday Reed, STAR Writer

Ralphie tries to seduce Josie but gets a fine beating from his mother who catches him in the act. The beating and the incident earns him the name Big Man.

"Ralphie a wha y'ah do?" Josie was feeling breathless and a little scared, but she wasn't sure she should pull away. Maybe she could let him just touch her. Encouraged by Josie's stillness, Ralphie slipped his hand over the seat of Josie's pants and wriggled his fingers around. He had heard that wriggling the fingers was a good thing. He took her in take of breath as a good sign. Ralphie felt like he was about to die from the excitement building up inside him. He stilled his hand to try to calm himself but it didn't work. He inched away Josie's panties and tried to slip his fingers inside. However, Josie, getting quite alarmed in the face of Ralphie's anxiety and bolder explorations made a half hearted attempt to stop him.

"No Ralphie, me no tink me ready fi dis yet," Josie yelped. She didn't want him to think badly of her but if her mother would kill her.

"Jus cool no Josie, no bady naa know," Ralphie encouraged. His goal was in sight. He wasn't sure exactly what it looked like but he could see it.

"But suppose - " she said, her voice dropping to a whisper.

"Mi tink you say you love mi?" he asked.

"Yes but - " Josie continued.

"Den if you love mi we can mek love den. Why you tink dem call it dat?"

"Awright den," Josie wasn't convinced but she didn't want Ralphie to think she was an idiot. Anyway she did love him. Realising victory was his Ralphie shoved his pants to his ankles. He positioned himself, not sure exactly how everything worked. He was getting ready to thrust when he felt a shoe descend heavily on his bottom. He yelped and jumped off Josie in fright. He fell flat on his ass on the cold floor only to stare up at his mother's thunderous face. He quickly scrambled out of the way, but not quickly enough. Forgetting his ardor and his pants Ralphie dashed from the house. He knew his mother would kill him if she caught him. Ralphie ran down the road, naked. His mother came storming after him much faster than one would expect a woman of her size to move. As she moved she roared, "You Ralphie, you is a wutless bwoi. Eeh. Look at you eeh. You tink you is a big man ehh? Afta me have to wake up 'ow much a'clack fi go a maaket you ole up wid some wutless nasy neagre. Well if you tink seh you is a big man, I gwine show you big man today!"

Ralphie darted down the road past a group of men who had gathered in front of Desi's shop and ran into his friend Alfie's yard, next door to the shop, shouting at the top of his lungs.

"Alfie! Alfie! Jesus Christ Alfie! Yu haffie hide me. Mi madda a go kill me when she catch me."

Alfonso ran out of his house as soon as he heard his friend's voice but so had his mother. Before he said a word to his friend his mother had accosted Ralphie.

"Bwoi why yu runnin into mi yard makin sommuch nize this early Satiday mawnin? An weh di backside yu pants deh?"

Before Ralphie could answer, his mother was on him. The beating she gave him left him swollen for days, and it also left him with the name Big Man.

Next in Episode 10. Rose stops Big Man Ralphie as he is abusing the newest mother of one of his children when she tells him to stop.
