Portmore United securedsecond spot in the Wray and Nephew National Premier League (NPL) with a 1-0 win over Boys' Town and a berth into the Caribbean Club Championships.
The talented Kevin Deerr fired home the 40th-minute winner at Collie Smith Drive as Portmore wrapped up the runner-up spot after third-placed Reno lost 0-3 to Village United.
Portmore, the 2005 champion, move to 61 points, five clear of Reno with one round remaining.
Boys' Town in ninth position on 36 points have a slim chance
of finishing in the top eight and qualifying for the President's Cup.
With the seventh-placed team Village taking on the eighth-placed Arnett Gardens on Sunday, Boys' Town remain optimistic of catching Arnett on 38 points.
Over at Frome, third-placed Reno of Westmoreland, crashed 0-3 to remain on 56 points, seven points ahead of dethroned champions Waterhouse. Ian McNuff, Leon Irving and Luke Tate all scored for the Trelawny-based Village which jumped to seventh position on 40 points.
Waterhouse succumbed 2-3 to the improving August Town.
Ross Burton (17th), Daniel Shaw (40th) and an own goal in the 78th minute pushed August Town to 44 points to secure sixth position.
Waterhouse's Irvino English registered his 17th goal of the season in the 47th minute and Brian Wollaston netted in the 65th minute in their team's losing cause.
Ricardo Geddes (18th) and Omar Reid (85th) led Seba United to an upset 2-0 win over Tivoli Gardens. Seba crept up the table on 33 points to distance themselves from the relegated duo of Wadadah and Naggo Head.
The relegated Naggo Head edged Arnett Gardens 1-0 with Kingston College schoolboy Christopher Allen scoring in the ninth minute.
Naggo Head move to 23 points but remain rooted to bottom of the table and await parish football next season.
Former champions Arnett Gardens hold on to the eighth spot on 38 points after suffering their 16th defeat of the season and could prompt coach Glendon 'Admiral' Bailey to step aside.
Crowned champions Harbour View continued to be ruthless, spanking Wadadah 4-0 with strikers Fabian Taylor and Kavin Bryan scoring twice. Bryan has a total of 16 goals and Taylor has 14, and along with English and Reno's Ricardo Scott (13) they will be battling for the golden boot award.
Harbour View have 71 points while relegated Wadadah remain on 23.
