Unidentified body found in Plantation Heights

The decomposing body of an unidentified man believed to be in his late twenties was found in Plantation Heights, St. Andrew, on Saturday.

Police reports are that at 7:50 a.m., residents discovered the body in a gully and alerted the police. They processed the scene. An on-the- spot post-mortem revealed that the cause of death was due to multiple gunshot wounds.

The man is of dark complexion, medium build, about 5' 9" tall and was clad in a beige T-shirt, black short pants and black and blue Nike sneakers.

The Duhaney Park police are investigating.

The Little London police in Westmoreland have also been investigating the death of a farmer, also on Saturday.

Neville Cunningham, a 62-year-old farmer of Bath House district died from injuries he sustained when he crashed after he lost control of a tractor he was driving.

Police reports are that at 7:00 am, Cunningham was descending a hill in a tractor, when he lost control of the vehicle which overturned. He sustained multiple injuries and was taken to the Savannah-La-Mar Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
