Dear Pastor,

I have been living in the U.S.A. for approximately five years now. I would like to know why it is that I can't seem to keep a date. I admit that my job and everything else take time away from me. I am a nice young lady who loves the Lord. I am asking you to pray for me that God will send the right person in my life.

Pastor, we are living in an age where some men are interested in a lady only for sex and money. They can't seem to accept the good qualities of a nice person. Please pray for me. I read your column all the time and I like the advice that you give to people. God bless you.

Dear M.S.,

I will surely pray that God will provide a loving and responsible man for you. But, I must also caution you not to be in such a hurry to find a man whom you may be tempted to become intimate with after a few dates. Some women meet and marry men while they are young.

Others marry much later in life. I know many young women who served the Lord faithfully but didn't get married until middle-age.

And it seems as if God gave them special men who are healthy and wealthy. So, my dear, continue to serve God. Go out in groups and wait on the Lord. He will give you the desire of your heart in His own time.
