Dear Pastor,

I have been married one year now, but I have been with my husband for four years. Since we got married he won't have sex with me, maybe once a week if I beg long enough. Whenever I try to talk to him he insults me or disrespects me.

I don't know what to do. He makes me feel less than a woman. He treats his relatives better than he does me. I know I am an attractive plus size woman but he make me feel fat and ugly. I feel like running away or maybe hurting myself.

Please tell me what to do because I have run out of ideas.

Something is wrong. A man does not ignore his wife all the time in bed unless there is a reason. Perhaps he got married to you because both of you were having a relationship for a long time. The only thing I can suggest is that the both of you should make an appointment to see a family counsellor.
