St. Elizabeth:
Play was delayed for the entire morning session of the first day of the ISSA/Grace Headley Cup semi-final game between defending champions Holmwood Technical and Godfrey Stewart at St. Elizabeth Technical High School.
According to the coaches of the respective teams, the pitch was wet and play did not get under way until 1:45 p.m.
Godfrey Stewart who won the toss and elected to bat were bowled out for a paltry 80 runs off 60.4 overs. Rayon Moxam top scored with 21.
National youth player Andre Creary and Jermaine Blackwood shared most of the wickets.
Creary took 4 for 20 off 23 overs while Blackwood got 4 for 24 of 21 overs. Odane Swaby and Denroy Booth grabbed a wicket a piece.
In reply, Holmwood were eight without loss to close the day's play.
