Dear Pastor,
I am a 13-year-old girl and I am in a relationship with a 16-year-old boy. My parents don't know about this. I love him and he loves me. I have kissed him three times already and he told me that he has always wanted me to kiss him.
We have decided to get married and have a lot of children. Do you think I should continue the relationship at this age?
D. A., Jamaica
Dear D. A.,
Now that you have been kissed and this boy has told you that he has always wanted to kiss you, I hope that you will not go any further with this friendship. If this guy and you fool around, you will end up having sex. And I must warn you that a 16-year-old boy is quite capable of impregnating a girl. In the heat of the passion from a kiss, a girl can lose control of herself and have sex. And when it is over, she may ask herself the question, "How did it happen"?
You are not ready for an intimate relationship. So, please, stop the foolishness. Don't hide and fool around with this guy or any other guy. Both of you may get yourselves into trouble. Tell this young man that you want time to grow up. You may have 'big boobs' and a 'big body' but you are not ready for a man. And this guy is still a boy. Don't do what adults do.
Pastor
