Three Clarendon men face gun charges

Three men were arrested and charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition following the seizure of an illegal gun in Dunbar River, Westmoreland, on Tuesday.

Charged are Clifton Woolery, 33, Orville Bell, 30, otherwise called 'Wally', and Clifton Williams, 37, otherwise called 'Scary', all of Clarendon addresses.

Police reports are that at 12:30 a.m. members of a police patrol saw a parked Toyota Corolla motor car registered 0753EJ with three men aboard, near a service station in Dunbar River.

The men's actions aroused the suspicion of the lawmen and they were searched. The search yielded a Taurus 357 Magnum revolver serial #5207560 and 18 .38 cartridges. The Sav-la-Mar police are investigating.
