Rasbert Turner, STAR Writer

Spanish Town

Fearon Gray, a 20-year-old unemployed youth of Central Village, St. Catherine, will have to prove that a man allegedly pointed a gun at him and told him to grab a cellphone.

Gray, who is facing larceny charges, pleaded not guilty.

The investigating officer, Valantia Rafael, told RM Lorna Errar-Gayle that on February 15, the com-plainant was on the Portmore Mall around 4 p.m. when Gray allegedly grabbed her SLVR cellphone while she was using it. He ran, the complainant made an alarm and Gray was chased and held. The police were alerted and he was arrested and charged.

When he appeared in court, Gray was remanded until March 16 when his case will again be mentioned.
