Last Saturday's staging of 'Strip Tease 3, Jungle Extasy' at the Students' Activity Centre, UTech, featured some hot performances on stage from not only billed acts, but also from a couple surprise ones as well.

At 2:43 a.m., after the likes of Razz and Biggy, Renaissance, Swatch International and other selectors stabilised an early vibe, Turbulence was first to open the live performances with a Notorious entry and was even recalled after his initial exit to leave his Name And Number. The pace was set by the 'No-torious' one as he declared, We Had The Love and Nuh Man Cyan Guh Back A Dis.

The hype was maintained as the sound of Mavado's voice singing Anyway from side-stage alerted patrons as to the next performer before they gained sight of him.

And as he stepped on stage, he asked, "Weh di gangsta dem deh? Uno know mi wanted from weh day, mi nuh come a road", before he proceeded to unload rounds of lyrical artillery with a Full Clip.

The gangsta for life also declared that Top Shotta Nuh Miss and Ball Dem A Ball before he was joined on stage by Munga Honourable who showed why Dem Bwoy Deh Nuh Bad Like I.

Einstein also quickly came to Rise Di Machine while Flex reminded, Mi Buss Mi Gun Early Sunday Morning.

Patrons enjoyed the high energy from these artistes and were even in for a surprise treat, as Mavado, after declaring his New Name Fi Informa and doing his gangsta version of Amazing Grace, called on his 'father', Bounty Killer who rushed on stage singing about his 50 Calliba.

The Killer then paused to address the crowd.

"It's Mavado, Lady Saw an di family, I jus come to say hello, yallo!" And as he took his exit, Killer reminded, "Alliance yuh dis yuh get bullet" and "Sen fi di guns dem now".

At 3:02 a.m., Lady Saw took the stage to represent for the females as she sang Man A Di Least A Wi Problem.

Saw then asked, "A whe di gyal dem wid di tight p..p.. weh a squeeze dem?" She then proceeded to demonstrating how ladies with the tight p..p.. walked, while screaming as if in pain.

Saw did not hold anything back lyrically as she also described what a Pretty P....y was before leaving 'dem other girls' to Chat To Mi Back.

The doctor, Beenie Man, was up next at 3:15 a.m. Clad in full black, he took to the stage singing Wi Done Know Di P....y Dem Nuh Like Wi but declared that Wi Come Again.

Accompanied by two visible body guards on stage, Beenie worked without fear, thrilling the crowd with tune after tune, dance after dance and gimmick after gimmick.

He then paused and said, "Mi try mi best fi help people an dem still walk a road an criticise mi", before he went into singing Dem Tell One Bag A Lie.

Again, the doctor stopped to speak to his fans.

"Artiste nuh fi fight 'gainst each odda - a me an Killa run dis business, suh Killa, hate mi all yuh want, mi still love yuh," Beenie said as he went into singing Bulleta Bulleta. But for this song, a few boos rang out in the audience, forcing Beenie to pause once more to address the crowd.

"All a mi fans dem seh Beenie Man - All a Bounty Killa fans seh boo - majority rule, uno stop uno noise," Beenie said as he shortly after called for his wife, D'Angel to join him on stage.

D'Angel came out singing Downtown Girl Living a Uptown Life and as she went into doing her latest single, Babyfather, she too collected a few boos, but that did not deter the two artistes as the doctor then teamed up with his wife to declare One Man A Push Him Ting Inna Yuh Hum Hum.
