Dear Pastor,
I'm currently in a relationship with a guy who lives in Jamaica. I live in the States. We've been together for three years. He cheated on me and got the girl pregnant. He stated that it was a one-night thing. He gave me the girl's number. I called her and she told me he said that he had his girlfriend and she should throw the baby away.
Anyway, she didn't. Now she has the baby but he told me that he and the girl are not together.
However, I feel hurt knowing that he impregnated somebody and it is not me. I have a daughter of my own but I came in the relationship with my daughter. I love this man to death. Pastor, do you think he loves me? Should I move on with my life?

Dear T.B.,
This man asked the young woman he impregnated to have an abortion but she didn't. If she had taken his advice you wouldn't have known that he had a relationship with her. I'm sure he didn't tell you that he asked her to terminate the pregnancy. It is really up to you to determine whether or not you are going to continue the relationship with him.
You said you love him to death. Remember now that the money he earns will have to be shared with the child and her mother if both of you were to get married. Think about this matter carefully before you decide whether or not you would marry him. Why do men believe that they have the right to tell women whether or not they should carry their pregnancies? Some of our men are very irresponsible and your boyfriend falls in this category.
