Chris Martin's 'Jamaican Girls' were out in abundance at his autograph signing session on Tuesday at Aquarius Music store in Half-Way Tree.

Since they were mostly school- girls, the innocent giggles and the bashful approaches were also in abundance. THE STAR Artiste of the Month for January arrived on the scene around 3:15 p.m. Surprisingly, there were only a few fans awaiting him. That quickly changed as the word spread that Chris Martin was around.

"She hear seh yuh deh roun here and shi just spring come all the way over here," said one the young ladies about her friend who came to get her souvenir.

Martin began the simple yet tedious job of inking his name on the portraits he had prepared. Little did he know it would be a while before he would get a break. As if that wasn't bad enough, many of the fans were armed with their cellular phone to walk away with picture perfect memories of the day they met their star.

"Mi a mek sure seh mi get one of me and him too," said another girl to her friend after she had taken a picture of Martin.

Martin could be seen flexing his fingers after extended periods of signing. The crowd did not let up until about 75 minutes into the signing. At that point, he got a chance to talk with a couple fans who apparently knew him before. Then it was time to continue his signing duties.

Believe it or not, some of the young ladies were in awe at the fact they were having a face to face with someone who stole their hearts a year ago. One girl asked Chris to be her valentine.

Martin was pleased with the day's outcome.

"I feel good. It's a wonderful feeling that people of different age group came out. I guess I am really seeing the fruits of my labour. People love me and they love the music," Martin said.
