Torrential showers which have battered the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago over the last few days, have also seriously affected the Bermuda cricket team's prep-aration for the upcoming Cricket World Cup.
Bermuda, presently in Trinidad for a four-match series and camp, had two matches against first division clubs earlier this week rained out.
On Wednesday, a match against W Connection Wanderers at Gilbert Park in California was completely rained out, while on Thursday a game against FCB Clarke Road United at Wilson Road Recreation Ground in Penal was also completely washed out.
The team will have practice sessions at the Sir Frank Worrell Cricket Development Centre in Balmain, Couva from Friday to Monday, followed by two back-to-back one-day matches against W Connection Wanderers on Tuesday and Wednesday at Gilbert Park and Inshan Ali Park respectively.
Coached by former West Indies middle-order batsman Gus Logie, Bermuda will leave Trinidad at the completion of the camp on January 19.
After returning to Bermuda, they will then leave for Kenya to contest the International Cricket CouncilŐs World League.
Bermuda will play in Group B alongside Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka in the Cricket World Cup scheduled to run from March 13 to April 28.
