Dear Pastor,
I am 25 and a single mother of four. I met a man online about two months ago. We got along very well and we started talking about getting married. However, the thing is this, he is in Jamaica and I am abroad. We talk a lot on the phone, through mail and by MSN messenger. He is a wonderful person, but most of my friends keep telling me that he is only using me to come here. I truly believe he cares about me and wants to be a part of my life, but at times I doubt him and he tells me not to because he loves me and wants to be with me and only me.
I've been hurt twice before and I don't want to make the same mistake over and over again. Before I go ahead and marry this man I need your advice. What should I do? Do you think I'm making a mistake? Some online relationships work, some don't. I'm waiting your fatherly advice.

Dear T.C.,
You are taking a big risk. I cannot encourage you to marry this man. You have only been communicating with him for the last two months. He can tell you whatever he wants you to hear. You have never met him personally and he has never met you. Your friends love you and that is why they are warning you. Don't be in a hurry to accept any proposal from a man you do not know very well.
