THE EDITOR, Sir:

This is an open letter to the mothers of Moses 'Beenie Man' Davis and Rodney 'Bounty Killer' Price.

I witnessed the behaviour of your sons at the Boxing Day's event Sting. I saw the indiscipline they instilled in their fans and this causes me great concern. There is only one end to the path your sons have chosen, and that is destruction.

Mothers please remind them of the words on the Kette Drum Rhythm, tell them to apply the words to their own lives, they cannot be saying one thing and their lives do not reflect it, this would make them out to be a liar and making fools of their fans.

Talk to them now or shed tears later. They are not too grown that you cannot rebuke them. Remember that as their mothers you have a great influence on them. They love you and will listen to you. Use that knowledge to your advantage.

Failure or success of your child lies in your lap. Your sons need to focus on their assignments (DJing) and not be distracted by outside forces. May your God give you the strength to handle your business. My prayers are with you.
