The general feeling among fans and patrons is that long time dancehall rivals Beenie Man and Bounty Killer, settle their differences once and for all via a clash on stage and put aside childish ways and continue to make good music.
"Yea man, mi feel seh a dat fi gwaan, mek di clash happen, a dat wi waan si. Cause dis yah ting yah a stretch out too long yah now. Di music nuh nice again when di two big man dem (Bounty and Beenie) a bring all dem personal ting to di stage now," 28- year-old Sereta told The STAR.
Junior 'Natchiluus' Shaw of Backyardbeats.com (an entertainment website) says he is tired of a rivalry that is going nowhere.
"Yow mi tired a it now man, di two a dem (Bounty and Beenie) a two big ole man. An now when dem a clash, a nuh like seh a fun ting again, dem a get personal. But it a get pon top a mi nerves yah now man. Dem fi jus call it a day an relax," Shaw said.
"Dem nah set nuh example fi di artiste dem weh a come up an some a dem all a get drawn inna di ting. Yow a Beenie help build Bounty and Bounty help build Beenie an di two a dem done build already," he added.
For another male, Chris, who claims to be a fan of both artistes, "Beenie and Bounty a my yout dem but a full time di war done. It nuh good fi di music, it a mash up di ting yah star."
