Spice boxed at GT Taylor show

By Kavelle Anglin-Christie, Staff Reporter

Spice

On Christmas night when most were sharing a few laughs with their loved ones, Spice and Beenie Man were doing quite the opposite at GT Taylor's 'Extravaganza' show in St. Elizabeth. The two artistes were deeply involved in a confrontation backstage after her performance.

Spice says the confrontation occurred after Beenie was offended by a song she performed.

"Now when me go pon GT Taylor show, me go chat di tune. Me say me naw choose nobody side, but me a go talk from a woman's perspective."

"... Me say 'dem a gangster and one gal a mash up dem head/Angel have di two big man like Barney and Fred/ Dem a war and cuss ova di red when so much woman deh yah coulddah a bruck dem b—- head/ Di gal shouldn't mek di two a dem a cuss/ Beenie must stop hype because a Bounty f... it fuss."

Spice says when she came off stage, men in Beenie Man's entourage approached her and told her to accompany them to him.

"... Bout 20 man come fi me, say dem a carry me to Beenie Man and me ongle hear when him say 'Yuh fi go s••• yuh modda. Yuh fi get a box inna yuh face.' Same time one of the youth dem wha a par wid him, box me, me nuh know a who, me only know when me get box," she said.

The situation was put on pause when other men backstage came to her rescue. Spice also says if anyone should be offended because of her stage lyrics, it is Bounty Killer.

No disrespect

"Look how much tings me say bout Bounty Killer and him never disrespect me yet. We are not the best of friends, but him know say when me touch the stage a so me stay and when him go pon stage, me know how him stay. If anything, me woulddah expect say a Bounty woulddah send man fi me," she said.

She further explained that the confrontation stemmed from something even further. "A true Beenie cyaan f... me... Him a carry p•••• feelings," Spice told THE STAR.

Spice explained that a few months ago, "When me, him and Lady Saw were going to The Bahamas to do a show one week before him get married, we deh pon di plane and him a tell me pure tings bout Angel."

"Him all a say bout from him show Angel him bank book she a gwaan like she want done it. And how she invite how much people come a di wedding and want how much million-dollar dress and how much people him haffi call and drop dem offa di list. Dem will know if a lie me a tell," she said.

Spice also said; "... Den when we ova deh him a say every minute she a call him a ask him bout wedding so him lock off him phone and him only a married her fi di promotion."

She says while in The Bahamas, he made sexual advances towards her, which she rejected.

THE STAR was unable to contact Beenie Man, however, when he hit the stage at Extravaganza, he said: "Ninja diss me, but me naw go bodda answer him because me respect me elders. Spice a gal wha nuh no whe inna Angel class and she diss my wife and my wife is my life. So watch it."

Spice in the meantime says: "A nuh done di war done, a start it just start."
