Cush Hunta - Contributed
Today THE STAR continues one of its latest features, a weekly review of new songs. Three musical minds with different tastes will analyse each song and will grade it on vocal ability, lyrics, musical arrangement and appeal. Songs that make the grade will be given our stamp of approval, 'Mus Buss'. For those songs that fail, well they will be dumped under the 'Caan Buss' heading.
The three reviewers welcome feedback from the artistes and the public about the column. Send your comments to:
bussdem@hotmail.com, or if you are an artiste wishing your song to be reviewed, send the CD to:

This week the Mus Buss/Caan Buss Team reviews Greens by Cush Hunta. The song looks at the true vegetarian diet of a Rastafarian.
TAE: The song decent still. Mi nuh find nuh fault wid it and di punch line catchy. Weh di punch line say? 'Rasta nah feed pan greens alone ...' Yow, it bad.
Queen: I agree. The first thing that grabbed me when I heard the song was the clarity. The sound was just clear, you could hear what he was singing although he was deejaying, and the harmony throughout was of a high standard.
TAE: Trust me, a one a dem tune deh weh just smooth pan di riddim. Is a tune weh even the meat lovers will be compelled to listen to 'cause a real thing him a talk. People always a seh how some Rasta look suh mawga a cause a dis bag a greens and nuh meat fi back it, suh now a Rasta a defen it.
Queen: I agree that the song has appeal. The lyrics has touched on the eating habits of Rastafarians but in a different manner. Plus the riddim, which is sort of a one drop thing, just suit di song. The artiste rides the riddim properly and I definitely think the song was well produced.
TAE: Boom! dah tune yah a gwaan wid a likkle vibe and even though man a nuh Rasta man, and man a nuh vegetarian, is a tune weh mi really enjoy listening to and mi can appreciate, suh definitely it can get di Mus Buss signal round ere.
Queen: As I said earlier, the song is well produced and I enjoy listening to it, suh mi definitely haffi give it the Mus Buss signal to.
