The No Violence in School Tour has made its mark.
Well that is what one of the sponsors believes.
Marketing/Communications Manager for bMobile, Tamara Ward, said they have been getting positive feedback from all parties involved.
With eight schools under its belt the No Violence School Tour is approaching its end today.
Waterford High School will be the last stop on the tour.
"It's not just about selling phones to people. It's about the full scope of communications and that's something we really stand by," Ward said of bMobile's involvement in the tour.
She said the key lies in the way the message is being presented. "The catch there is to marry the two (a message and music) ... when you have them they're excited, they are listening," Ward said.
bMobile intends to be involved in many other ventures involving youth, she said.
Students, principals and artistes have been giving the tour rave reviews and believe that it can make a difference.
Sponsored by The Star, bMobile, Solid Agency, Hype TV and Mother's Patty, the tour has travelled to schools in Kingston, Portland, Clarendon and Spanish Town amongst others.
All the schools have been thrilled through performances from Lando, the Comb King, The Unusual, Aisha, Etana, Brahyan Art and G-Whizz among others. There have also been performances from QQ, Voicemail, Kiprich, Bounty Killer, Bling Dawg and Aidonia among others.
