Gays and gals

Jackass sey di worl' no level. Jackass sey a ooman supposed to no like gay guy de mos', but a dem en' up a fren' dem an gi dem bligh.

It never fails. If some man have a discussion about some men, as in male homosexuals, with a woman or two around, a fine voice is sure to pipe up, "they are people too and everybody has the right to make a choice," or something to that effect.

Jackass can never understand some women's attitude towards male homosexuality, begging bligh for the two-guy thing when they should be the ones complaining the most. For in this era of shortage of man, where at any party you go to you will see clusters of good-looking women all dolled up and the hardest thing around them is a bottle, it would seem to Jackass that they should be the ones up in arms about some men who have other men up in arms.

Time and time again Jackass has heard women say that all the good men are either married, committed, in prison, dead or gay. Of all the categories, married and committed (which means just what these days? Hmmmmm.) means at least there is a chance of what drops off break-up will drop into the G-string. Dead well, there is not much one can do about that, unless it is the dead of the Viagra kind. In prison they may just pick up attitudes of the brutal kind or the one it is hard to 'rebutt' (pun intended), but when they come out they can be smoothed off.

And the number of women who gather outside General Penitentary and the prison in Spanish Town when it is visiting time the indicates that they are quite willing to wait out the hard time so that they can have a hard time (can you imagine the vim, vigour and vitality of a man who has been in prison and on the straight and narrow for six months and over?)

But there is no excusing the gay guys. Big, strong, healthy men seeing nice, soft, curvy women everyday and choosing tough, rough face, deep-voice men to curl up with. So, first of all, the women should feel very offended at men choosing other men over them. Second, they should feel that this is extra competition, as if man wasn't short enough already. And it would seem to Jackass that having a coarse voice grumble "gal, lef' me man" down the telephone at you is much more disturbing than getting a genuine matie call.

Having a man matie must have a whole new dimension to 'lick e back'.

Then there is the fact that gay guys don't like women. Some are openly vicious, some smile and play along, but at the end of the day, if there is a choice to promote a man or a woman at work, the man will get the work (pun intended). If there is a choice between a man or a woman to be fired, the woman is going to go. It is hard enough to crack the glass ceiling, but it must be a hell of a thing to be trying to burst the bottom one below.

Jackass sey di worl' no level. Jackass sey ooman a pet up men an men naa pet dem up.
