Comedic entertainers, Ity and Fancy Cat now have their own television show, which will begin airing early next year.
The new television show, called The Ity And Fancy Cat Show is the latest project the two have embarked on and according to Ity, the best way to describe the show is "a cross between Dave Chapelle, In Living Colour and a kinda Chris Rock ting. that's the best way that we can describe it, suh we do skits, go on the streets and mimic people. dem ting deh."
The show will officially be premiered on December 13 at 1p.m. at the Palace Cineplex and although Ity says they cannot say at this point which of the television stations will be carrying the show, they are looking to early next year to start airing.
"Wi nah guh seh which TV station it a guh come pon yet, but wi a look for a January or February airing, but it definitely a guh be before Cricket World Cup. It's going to be a late- night ting. we want it fi be outside a di regular time cause wi waan fi can do more tings, wi want it fi free, cause yuh know seh we always go to di edge when wi a do our ting. it's not TV, it more unorthodox," Ity explained.
Fancy Cat says he has great expectations for the show, but says, "wi need di public fi tell wi wah dem feel, but to me it look criss, but wi jus a wait pon di full hundred from di public."
Fancy Cat says, "for the show, expect skits, wi do likkle interviews, but none a di ting dem nuh normal, wi do it fun."
