Bounty still Kartel's daddy

Vybz Kartel may have left the Alliance but according to deejay Bounty Killer he still remains 'Addie's daddy'.

Bounty Killer was responding to questions about the relationship between him and Vybz Kartel, a former lieutenant in his Alliance crew during the No Violence School Tour at Edith Dalton High School in St. Andrew on Tuesday.

"Unu better go do some therapy because unnu go see mi an him a tek picture an' do song together. Mi an' him have collaborations together. Wha we a go do a change di line dem in a di song dem? Mi a still him daddy," he said.

"We might nuh do no song yessiday or last week but do song since di start a di year but we nah go seh we nah do no more song together," he said.

Bounty Killer added that although Kartel, a key ally in his Alliance camp walked out, the crew is stronger than ever and he is still in charge.

"Di Alliance only have one head. A jus dat some finger and toe and hand waan tek it over. If one man leave di Alliance dat nuh mean seh it split. We a gi dem it harder next year because next year we a go be the 'Higherliance'. Yuh go see mi an' Kartel a tek picture together a deh so unnu go have heart attack," he said. He, however, did not say who, or if any attempt had ever been made to topple him as leader.

Bounty Killer said there was also no beef between himself and Aidonia who has sided with Vybz Kartel since the feud began a few weeks ago. The situation reportedly intensified because of Aidonia's insistence on associating with Vybz Kartel.

"Yuh could a call mi pon di phone but yuh see it fi yuhself. Yuh nuh see di man jus stan' up beside mi? Mi coulda tell yuh all sort a gibberish pon di phone but yuh nuh see mi an' di man a talk," said Bounty Killer, referring to the fact that Aidonia had been standing beside him before the interview started.

Playing down beef

Although downplaying any form of beef, both artistes still stood aside for the majority of the tour but came together for a few seconds before Aidonia performed. Still, Bounty Killer has said the feud is much ado about nothing.

"A likkle misunderstanding gwaan Sunday morning an' nobody nuh call mi fi hear my side. Everybody jus run go write all sort a tings wha nuh go so," said Bounty Killer.

When THE STAR contacted Kartel yesterday for a response to Bounty Killer's 'mi a still him daddy' comment, he said; "I'm Killer's son, but me nuh live inna him house."
