Fake cops, road trap
Police are warning the public to be on the alert for persons impersonating police officers. The police have issued the warning after a recent mail van robbery, where robbers dressed as cops in blue denim stopped the vehicle.
Malaria mayhem - Citizens stock up on destroyers
Some citizens are stocking up on products to repel or kill mosquitos out of fear of catching malaria. On Friday the Ministry of Health issued a report that there were four cases of malaria in the island and up to Monday the number was pushed up to 13.

Accused embezzler remanded
WESTERN BUREAU: Despite his arguments by his attorney that he would not be a danger to the witnesses, a man facing 77 counts of embezzlement was remanded when he appeared in the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate's Court.
