Illegal gun found

An illegal 12-gauge, home-made shotgun, along with three 12-gauge cartridges, was found in bushes on Marlie Avenue off Old Harbour Road, St. Catherine, recently.

According to the Constabulary Communication Network, the find was made at about 6:15 p.m. when the police, acting on information, carried out an operation in the area.

So far, no one has been arrested. The Old Harbour police are continuing their investigation.
