No arrest yet in Riverton murders

The police are yet to make an arrest in the murders that took place in Riverton City between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning in two separate incidents.

Police reports say that the first murder occurred at approximately 8:15 Tuesday night, Ronald Rose otherwise called Jess and Terry-Ann Brown also called 'Gal Gal' were at a gambling house in Riverton when gunmen opened fire on them.

Rose, 42, died on the spot, while Brown, 19, died on her way to hospital.

Rose is formerly of Callaloo Mews Kingston 20, while Brown was from Riverton Meadows, Kingston 11.

Early Wednesday morning, at approximately 5:15, Kingsley Brown's relatives discovered his body at his house on Ferguson Drive in Riverton City. They called the police who verified that the 30-year-old had various gunshot wounds to the body.

Residents later reported hearing explosions at approximately before the body was found.

The St. Andrew South Homicide and Duhaney Park Homicide team are investigating respectively.
