Body of unidentified man found

Santa Cruz

The body of an unidentified man was found yesterday in the Black River at Barton Isles, St Elizabeth.

The body of the man stoutly build who appeared to be in his early 40s was discovered by fishermen who went to the river about 6:00 a.m.

The body was removed from the water by the fishermen from the nearby community with the assistance of the police.

The police from Santa Cruz theorised that the man might have drown by trying to cross the river.
