Demons out, school's in

Normality returned to the campus of the Shortwood Teachers' College yesterday after the possession of five students by demons, caused the suspension of classes on Thursday.

Checks revealed that classes had resumed and that school was in full swing. On Friday, the STAR reported that the possessions caused hysteria on the campus, driving fear into the students and forcing the administration to send them home. When the team visited the campus, then it was essentially deserted, with a few students waiting with bags and others lounging about and talking of their imminent departure.

School officials have been very tight-lipped on the possessions, which began when one student, visited a satanic website in hopes of finding out what it would be like to be possessed.

A source told the STAR that none of the affected students were seen on campus yesterday, but added that this may have been because all second year students, including those affected, should have been on teaching practice. She however added, "I heard they were okay though."

Attempts to seek confirmation from school officials were unsuccessful.
