There are only 24 hours in a day and most of us are already so busy living from day to day that the mere thought of having to live; calculating each activity we do, is a worrying factor.
However, we only have one body, and most of us will not live to see 100 years, therefore, we must take care of the body we have and we must do it now. No matter how old you are, it is never too early to start incorporating healthy lifestyle habits into your daily routines in order to fully maximise the potential of your body.
Healthy lifestyles not only mean staying physically well, but also taking into account the issue of how well we are overall.

Wellness in itself is an on-going lifestyle, which requires taking responsibility for and making healthy choices in everything. It promotes individual well-being through a balance of the social, cultural, physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, life planning and environmental areas of your life. Therefore, developing healthy habits includes wellness strategies that must be lifelong.
Health and wellness are not abstract goals, and can be achieved through easy methods as long as you are committed to being healthy.
Such habits as visiting your doctor for regular check-ups; purifying the air in your home and being kind to your lungs, creating and staying with an exercise programme and toning those muscles, eating healthy foods, drinking pure water often, losing weight if needed and giving your body the essentials for healthy living with vitamins and supplements, controlling stress and monitoring your body's performance are ones that will ensure that you live happier if not longer.
