Ganja case continues

The case against Alesha Goulbourne, the woman charged in connection with the seizure of 61kg (135 pounds) of marijuana on premises in the Bay Farm Villa area, will continue on November 8.

The allegations are that on July 5, at about 5:45 am, a police team was on patrol in the Bay Farm Villa area of the St. Andrew South Division. They reportedly went to a particular house and announced their presence. The accused reportedly opened the back door to the house. All the rooms in the house were searched and the contraband, wrapped in plastic, was found. Goulbourne was then held and charged.

When she appeared before RM Judith Pusey, the case was again put off. Her bail was also extended to November 8.
