Family looking for Dwight Bowra

Dwight Bowra - Contributed

It has been about a month since 16-year-old Dwight Bowra went missing and his family is appealing to the public for assistance to bring him back home.

His father, Wayne Bowra, said his son was last seen after returning from summer classes on July 24. He was said to have been picked up on a police raid by the Hunts Bay Police, but he was subsequently released. He has not been seen since.

His father, in a desperate attempt to find his son, has gone to a number of police stations and hospitals in Kingston and St. Andrew. He also has made fliers which have been posted across the Corporate Area.

sleepless nights

When THE STAR spoke with his father he said he just needs his son to return home soon. "I've been having sleepless nights because we cannot find him," Wayne Bowra said.

The St. Andrew South Police who are investigating said they have received a report and they continue to investigate the matter.

Anyone knowing the where-abouts of Dwight Bowra is being asked to contact his mother at 483-2386 or his father at 783-6187 or the Hunts Bay Police.
