Dear Pastor,
I am a 19-year-old female and I am messing around with a 31-year-old man. I also live with him. This is the first time I am going with an older guy. He is loving, caring, honest and trustworthy. I trust him very much. My family members are fussing at me. They say I am too young to live with him and be with him.
Tell me, pastor, I am too young for this guy. Thanks for your advice.

Dear N.D.,
The question that you ask is whether there is a future with this man? Right now, the age is not the important issue. You love this man, but does he love you? How does the future look for the both of you? Is he going to marry you? Is he going to help you to go to college? Are your parents going to help you to go to college if you end the relationship with this man? Are they in a position to do so? Does this man have other women? Does he have children? Why are you living with him? Is it because you are not comfortable at your parents' home? What? Do you have CXC passes?
Was this man married? If he is 31 years old, he would have had a woman or other women in his life. How long is he going to live with you before he marries you? Is he in a position to marry you? It is unwise for any girl to be living with a man and does not know whether or not she will wear his ring in six months time or in a year. Some men are good at fooling women by promising marriage while they are living with them. Don't let that happen to you. And please, make sure you get an education.
