Treat me with respect
Jamaica has a problem with people in officialdom. They become officious. This can be seen in all sectors of public service, whether it's customer service or other areas where people have to come in contact with service-oriented business.
 
A thief's welcome
The lead story in last Thursday's STAR told the tale of a returning resident who had been robbed three times. The story also said the man was considering moving away and was regretting his decision to open a business in Jamaica.
