Only six of the 36 children who were killed between January 2004 and December 2005 were from outside the Corporate Area and St. Catherine. And, of this number, only one died by the gun.
The six children, Jovaughn Williams, Shadece Williams, Stacy-ann Gardener, Dwayne Davidson, Sheneca Shakes and Shauna-Kay Legister, were killed in 2004 and 2005.
Jovaughn Williams was killed in Rose Heights, St. James in 2004. The boy was shot dead while he and his mother walked home. He was the sole child outside of the Corporate Area and St. Catherine to be killed with a gun. The boy was murdered by men who reportedly shot him because of a feud one of his relatives was said to be involved in.

In 2005, four-year-old Shadece Williams; Stacy-ann Gardener, 13, and Dwayne Davidson 15, were killed by a man in Kilancholy, St. Mary. The children were stabbed to death by a man who is reportedly their uncle as they slept in their home. That matter is still before the courts.
Later that year, nine-year-old Sheneca Shakes and Shauna-Kay Legister eight, were found dead in a cane field in Westmoreland after they were raped and strangled.
But, the majority of murders have taken place in the Corporate Area. Interestingly, in these murders, the gun accounted for most of the deaths.
