Blinging out on the weekend has taken a whole new twist. Leather couch, plasma screen televisions and an air-conditioned oasis are some of the things that men can look forward to should they choose to get their hair cut at Half-Way Tree's newest barber shop.

Entertainer Bling Dawg recently opened the doors of his pet project Bling Kutt Barbers, and he said the response has been great. "A mi breddren encourage mi fi open di shop. It was a good idea to try something different from music," the entertainer told THE STAR.

Bling Kutt Barbers is located on Central Avenue and is now offering an array services for those who want to be pampered.

With 10 barbers on staff, you will almost be out in a flash. But, if not, one of your favourite artistes will probably be sitting beside you on the comfortable leather couch.

It's a celebrity's barber shop, but the prices are still affordable. It only costs $400 for a haircut. Add another $100 to that and you can get a trim and a shave. Children only pay half of that.

"Everything in the shop is new. It's like a family thing where people can come and feel comfortable. We try to deal with manners and principles," Bling Dawg said.

And by family, he means that the shop also caters for women too. Mothers, wives and girlfriends can have their nails done while they wait on their son or husband.

"Di place is all good. It sell off! The environment nice; the customer service is good," said Kahlil Oshing, one of the barbers at Bling Kutt.
