The history of dancehall music has shown that lyrical rivalry can actually aid in the building or breaking of an artiste's career.
The likes of Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Ninja Man, Vybz Kartel, Assassin, Spragga Benz, Busy Signal and Aidonia are just a few of the big names that have engaged in lyrical battles.
However, the very young are now trying their hand at the art, as 11-year-old QQ and 10-year-old Dadda, because of their closeness in age and lyrical talent, have led fans to compare their musical talents. This has forced both youngsters into lyrical battle, as they fight for lyrical supremacy and the love of the fans.

Dadda (Amir Fyffe), who is the nephew of veteran artiste Lady G, compared himself to QQ in one of his songs entitled Who Badda. The song also mentioned other artistes who have rivaled lyrically before.
Dadda, in deejaying a part of his song, during an interview with The Star, sang, "Who badda, who badda, some seh John Hype, some seh a Labba, who badda, who badda, some seh a Kartel, some seh a Spragga, who badda who badda, some seh a QQ but me know seh a Dadda."
Even though QQ's father had said in an earlier interview with The Star, "Him (QQ) neva know Dadda, suh wi nuh really pay him no mind and at the end of the day Q nuh mek certain things be an issue," Dadda said QQ gave an answer to his song at a recent stage show he was on.
"Yea man, him answer it (the song) already a one show, but him nuh voice it yet, but me a guh do back something fi him," Dadda said.
This turned out to be true, as QQ (Kareem Dawkins), in an interview with The Star, sang a piece of his song, recently written to counteract Dadda. The song is entitled, Tonight Mi A Tell Yuh Who Badda.
"Tonight, tonight, mi a guh tell yuh who badda, me name QQ and there's no other, you seh yuh badda, but you smell badda, caan stop mi food mi a climb up di ladda. Bwoy guh home an respec yuh madda, caan touch mi shirt, mi seh caan touch mi colla, boost dem a boost him, a man him a follow," QQ deejayed.
Both artistes, however, admit that their confrontation is only lyrical, but according to Dadda, "Dat mek people more listen to wi."
