Dear Pastor,
Hon. P. J. Patterson overstayed his welcome as the Prime Minister of Jamaica. I was pleased to see him go. I was, however, disappointed that there were Jamaicans who believed that the Right Hon. Portia Simpson Miller should be elected President of the People's National Party and hence Prime Minister of Jamaica on the basis that she is a woman. It is clear that this woman does not have the intellectual grit to be Prime Minister.

Dear N.B.,
You are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine. I do not agree with you about the former Prime Minister Mr. Patterson and it is evident that you never loved him. History will prove that Mr. Patterson was an outstanding Prime Minister. He worked hard and he changed the political climate of this country. Jamaicans ought to be proud of what he has done. Perhaps your eyes are blind because of your political affiliation.
The present leader, Mrs. Simpson Miller, was not elected because she is a woman. You are clearly misinformed. Perhaps you should try and read 'The Gleaner' online to keep abreast of what is happening in Jamaica. 'The Gleaner' is also sold in New York where you reside.
Pastor
