One of the most recent controversial issues in Jamaica is the Portmore toll road and what many see as the total lack of respect for the residents of the largest community in the country.
Most 'Portmorians' feel they have been ignored by the Government, especially with the pricing issue and my heart goes out to them as they stand up for what they believe in.
Notwithstanding this, the Portmore toll road is one nice thoroughfare road to travel on. It really gives a comfortable ride. I really wish they had more roads like it throughout Jamaica [without the toll cost that is]. However, I hope that the residents of Portmore and the Government will soon come to a suitable
agreement that will find favour with both parties.
