As part of the hunt for child killers, today THE STAR continues its series geared towards informing the public about the unsolved murders.

A reward totalling $100,000 is being offered for the arrest and charge of persons or persons responsible for the death of our children.

In recent years, there have been a list of several gruesome child murders.

Among those on the list for 2002 was that of three children who were killed on 100 Lane in January of that year. The children were a part of seven people who were murdered.

Also on the list of chilling murders is that of Tyreek and Tyrone Henry, four and their five-year-old sister Moesha Lee who were burnt to death in Portmore in 2004.

But, 2005 tops the list in terms of gruesome deaths. Among some of these murders are that of Dwayne Davidson, 15; Shadece Williams, four, and Stacy-Ann Gardener, 13. The police said one of the children was reportedly stabbed eight times. The police later arrested Jeffrey Perry an uncle for the crimes.

Sasha-Kaye Brown's killing was one of the gruesome murders for 2005. Brown was killed along with her grandparents and an aunt on October 5, last year. The house was fire bombed and gunmen sprayed bullets at the occupants when they attempted to leave. The murders are still unsolved.

Shanika Anderson's murder also made the list. The child was raped and killed after she was lured away from the Coronation Market by a man who promised to buy her patties. Her murder too remains open.

In the fourth murder, Rodaine Powell, three, was killed along with his mother and brother after gunmen invaded their home in October last year. One man was later arrested and charged.

The list however, does not include the murders of Sheneca Shakes and Shauna-Kaye Legister who were raped and murdered in Westmoreland in June last year, which is still unsolved. It also does not have Quwayne Ross, three months old, who was shot while in his mother's arms. Ross' mother was also killed. One man was arrested in that crime.
