Four of the 36 children between a few months old and 13 years who were killed between 2004 and 2005 died after men set fire to their homes.

The children, four-year-old twins Tyrone and Tyriq Henry, five-year-old Moesha Lee and Sasha-Kaye Brown, 10, lost their lives through fire caused by arsonists.

Tyrone, Tyriq and Moesha were killed in September 2004 after men set fire to their homes. Reports are that about 1:30 a.m. Pansy Henry, a 35-year-old mother of six, was at home with her children when she heard strange sounds. The mother reportedly went outside when she allegedly saw two men, one of whom threw something at her house. She said that within seconds, the entire structure was engulfed in flames.

The police report that the children's mother reportedly had a disagreement with men in the area who in turn torched the house with the children inside. Two men were taken into custody in connection with that incident. The matter is still before the courts.

In the second incident, Brown was at home with her grandparents and aunt when about 40 men armed with guns threw Molotov cocktail bombs at her home. The police report that when the family tried to leave, gunmen fired several shots at the house. Investigators say neighbours reportedly heard the child's shrill cries for help as she died in the flames. Her case is still unsolved.

Brown's case has been described by investigator as one where the family was a 'soft target' meaning they were killed for someone else.

Investigators have also identified suspects, but said they are still on the run and have plans to release the names again.
