THE TOLL BELLS rang when the Portmore leg of Highway 2000 opened on July 15. The question as to whether the Government and the residents could reach a consensus regard-ing the amount of toll to be paid arose...

THERE WAS A story in THE WEEKEND STAR which showed the police in a very pleasant light. The story headlined 'Angels in blue save lady,' described how the officers of Bull Bay, St. Andrew, rebuilt the home of a 90-year-old resident of their community.
