WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS silver medallist Delloreen Ennis-London was the best-placed Jamaican at yesterday's Athens Super Grand Prix in Greece.
Ennis-London, a former national champion, ran 12.81 seconds, her second fastest time of the season to secure second behind German Kristen Bolm (12.69) in the women's 100m hurdles.
American Lolo Jones was third in 12.83, the same time as her compatriot Jenny Adams.
In the women's 800m, national champion Kenia Sinclair, finished fifth in 1:58.38, narrowly missing her national record of 1:58.16.
Russian Olga Kotlyarova won the event in 1:57.86 ahead of Tetyana Petlyuk of Ukraine (1:57.93) and Cuban Zulia Calatayud (1:57.94).
World champion Trecia Smith was fifth in the women's triple jump.
Smith leapt 14.47m to finish fifth behind Olympic champion Tatyana Lebedeva (15.23m) and Anna Pyatykh (15.17m), both of Russia.
Former national champion Dwight Thomas was seventh in the men's 100m in 10.22 seconds. Francis Obikwelu of Portugal won the event in 10.02 ahead of Trnidadian Marc Buns (10.13).
