An unmarked grave

RASBERT TURNER, STAR Writer

SPANISH TOWN

THE BODY OF a male, about 35 years old, which was found near Windalco in Ewarton, St. Catherine, had to be buried without the police getting an identification.

According to Detective Sergeant Paul Campbell, crime officer at the Ewarton Police Station, on May 24, the body of the male, who is of brown complexion and about six feet tall, was found with gunshot wounds to the face.

Mr. Campbell said that attempts to identify this man by fingerprint prove futile and as a result he had to be buried.

He told THE STAR that the government took responsibility for the man's burial. He said that pictures have been collected of the man and should any members of the public have lost a loved one for whom they have been searching, they may contact the Ewarton police.
