Alleged kidnappers go to Supreme Court

SACHA WALTERS, Staff Reporter

THREE PEOPLE WHO were in custody for assaulting, kid-napping and robbing two female insurance salespeople had their case transferred to the Supreme Court on Friday.

Steve McCalla and the two female teenagers who were charged with him heard when they appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court that the Director of Public Prosecution had indicated that the case would be transferred to the Supreme Court and mentioned on Friday.

The allegations are that on March 14 the team of Steve McCalla 34 and the two women worked together to kidnap and rob the two Life of Jamaica sales agents.
